NTT DATA has announced a multi-year agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help enterprises modernise legacy systems, adopt agentic AI responsibly, and scale innovation across industries.
In a release, the Tokyo-based technology services company said that the collaboration will deliver tailored enterprise solutions that modernise mission-critical workloads, build secure cloud foundations, and drive measurable business outcomes across regulated and high-growth industries. The collaboration will combine NTT DATA’s expertise in cloud transformation, cloud-native modernisation and agentic AI with the scale and innovation velocity of AWS services.
Both entities will carry out the partnership across four priority areas: AI-driven cloud modernisation, industry-specific cloud solutions, AI-enabled managed services and customer experiences, and regulated cloud solutions for Europe.
The partnership will leverage generative AI, automation, and NTT DATA’s Industry Cloud with over 500 business components to help organisations migrate workloads, deliver modernised contact centre solutions, and meet strict data residency and sovereignty requirements, including through the AWS European Sovereign Cloud.
AWS will support NTT DATA in running co-innovation programmes, certifications, and client events to help enterprises adopt AI-driven cloud solutions faster and with confidence, the company said.
To advance delivery, NTT DATA has formed a dedicated AWS Business Group, aligned with the AWS sales and delivery structure. The group includes nearly 11,000 AWS-certified experts and aims to certify nearly 10,000 more over the next three years.
