Accenture has expanded its partnership with Databricks to accelerate enterprise adoption of AI applications and agents at scale. The companies launched the Accenture Databricks Business Group to help clients adopt Databricks as their core data and AI platform.

“With Databricks, we’re helping clients modernise their data foundation so they can build, scale and govern AI applications and agents with confidence. Together, Accenture’s reinvention expertise and the Databricks platform help accelerate the shift from experimentation to production, safely scaling AI that delivers real business outcomes,” Julie Sweet, Chair and CEO of Accenture, said in a statement.

“More enterprises are using Lakebase to create operational databases that can scale with agents and Genie to get AI in the hands of every employee. Our work with Accenture allows us to help more organisations deploy AI securely and responsibly so they can achieve the outcomes they care about most,” Ali Ghodsi, CEO and Co-founder of Databricks, added.

Accenture and Databricks are working with clients, including Albertsons Companies, BASF, and Kyowa Kirin International, to deploy agent-ready databases and AI applications. These projects include solutions ranging from pricing intelligence in retail to digital assistants in finance and governance-led data modernisation in pharmaceuticals.

The new business group will be supported by more than 25,000 Databricks-trained professionals. It aims to help enterprises scale innovations such as Lakebase, Genie, Agent Bricks, and Lakehouse, while enabling multi-cloud flexibility and industry-specific solutions.
