Accenture has unveiled Cyber.AI, a next-generation cybersecurity solution powered by Claude, the AI model from Anthropic, designed to help organisations shift from human-speed response to continuous, AI-driven cyber operations.

By combining Accenture’s proprietary library of cybersecurity agents with Claude’s reasoning engine, Cyber.AI enables organisations to accelerate decision-making, enhance threat detection, and scale security operations.

The solution leverages more than two decades of Accenture’s cybersecurity expertise and the capabilities of its over 30,000 cybersecurity professionals, according to a release from the global tech giant.

A core feature, Agent Shield, allows organisations to protect, monitor, and govern autonomous AI agents in real time, ensuring they operate in line with organisational policies and risk tolerance. Claude powers Cyber.AI’s reasoning and agentic capabilities, synthesising security data and supporting automated workflows for faster analysis, detection, and response.

“With adversaries compressing attack timelines from weeks to hours, traditional controls are no longer enough,” said Damon McDougald, Global Cybersecurity Services Lead at Accenture. “Cyber.AI, with Claude at its core, enables organisations to operate at machine speed while ensuring AI systems are secure and governed from day one.”

The launch comes as AI-related vulnerabilities emerge as the fastest-growing cyber risk, with nearly nine in 10 organisations identifying them as a critical concern, according to the World Economic Forum’s Global Cybersecurity Outlook Report 2026, produced in collaboration with Accenture.

Cyber.AI automates complex cybersecurity processes, protecting expansive digital environments without adding manual effort. The solution supports operations across the cybersecurity lifecycle—from design and deployment to detection, response, and remediation—delivering measurable outcomes and improved organisational resilience.

Early deployments demonstrate tangible results. A Fortune 500 agriculture company used Cyber.AI to enhance identity and access management (IAM) operations, accelerate platform migrations, and strengthen overall security posture.

Within Accenture’s own IT infrastructure, Cyber.AI secured 1,600 applications and over five lakh APIs, reducing scan turnaround times from three to five days to under one hour, and increasing security coverage from 10% to over 80%. Operational efficiency improved, backlog of critical vulnerabilities decreased, and service delivery rose by 35%, contributing to consistent cost reductions.

“Cybersecurity demands AI that can reason across vast amounts of data, act autonomously through complex workflows, and operate within strict governance boundaries,” Michael Moore, Head of Cybersecurity Products at Anthropic, said. “That’s what Claude was built for—and it’s why agentic AI is transforming security operations at scale.”

According to Craig Robinson, Research Vice President at IDC, “Organisations need coordinated agentic AI across their security ecosystem to modernise defence operations. Cyber.AI helps clients achieve this, reshaping how cybersecurity teams operate in an increasingly complex digital environment.”
