Lovable, the AI-powered app-building platform, has expanded its capabilities beyond software development to include full-stack document generation, data analysis, and media creation within a single conversational interface.
In a recent announcement, the company said its AI agent can now process and generate a wide range of file formats—including spreadsheets, PDFs, slide decks, Word documents, images, and videos—while staying contextually tied to the applications users build.
Lovable’s agent now runs code, executes Python scripts for data analysis, converts file formats, and validates outputs in a secure environment. This setup allows users to upload raw data—such as CSV files, PDFs, or app analytics—and receive processed insights, structured reports, or ready-to-use documents in return.
“Lovable has always been for building apps. Today, it also becomes your data scientist, your business analyst, your deck builder, and your marketing assistant,” said Anton Osika, co-founder of Lovable, in a post on X.
Lovable said users no longer need separate tools for analytics, presentations, and documentation. Instead, they can generate investor decks, invoices, reports, and product assets directly within the same workflow used to build applications. Users can download and edit these outputs immediately for business use.
The platform also introduces the ability to convert static files into functional software. Users can upload spreadsheets, PDFs, or screenshots and prompt Lovable to turn them into working applications with databases, dashboards, and user interfaces.
Lovable integrates with external tools such as Slack and analytics platforms, enabling it to pull feedback, analyse usage patterns, and suggest product decisions. It summarises user feedback, identifies trends, and recommends features, combining product analytics with execution.
The platform also supports multimedia generation and processing. Users can create images, videos, and animations directly from prompts or transform existing files into new formats.
Last December, Lovable raised $330 million in a Series B funding round at a valuation of $6.6 billion, led by CapitalG and Menlo Ventures. Recently, TechCrunch reported that the startup has crossed $400 million in annual recurring revenue. Another report from Business Insider stated that Lovable achieved this with just 146 employees and plans to end the year with a total headcount of 350.
