Lovable, a platform for building apps through prompts, launched Lovable Cloud and Lovable AI, aiming to make full-stack app creation more accessible.
The company said in a post on X that with the new update, “Anyone can now build apps with complex AI and backend functionality, just by prompting.”
Lovable AI, powered by Google’s Gemini models, allows users to add artificial intelligence (AI) features to their apps without setup, API keys, or separate billing. “Just ask Lovable to add AI capability to your app and it will do it for you,” the company said. The AI feature is free for all users until October 5.
Lovable Cloud provides a built-in backend that covers logins, databases, file uploads, and other behind-the-scenes requirements. According to the company, this integration means that “building full-stack apps is easier than ever.”
The company said that developers and entrepreneurs are already using Lovable to create revenue-generating businesses. Examples cited include Sabrine, who reached $456,000 ARR in three months with a women’s safety app; Lumoo, with €700,000 ARR in seven months from an AI content platform; and Rory, who reported £100,000 ARR in six months from a marketplace.
“Because now, with Lovable Cloud & AI, the hardest parts of building real apps are handled for you,” Lovable said. The team said it had spent months developing the update before making it available to all users this week.
In July, the company raised $200 million in a Series A round led by Accel, valuing it at $1.8 billion and making it an AI unicorn.
