Lovable has launched its new app for iOS and Android, bringing its AI-powered “vibe-coding” platform to smartphones.
The app lets users build applications using simple voice or text prompts, enabling them to start and iterate on ideas from anywhere. With this launch, users can initiate projects on mobile devices and continue working on them across desktop and web environments.
Lovable’s platform is designed to generate applications based on high-level instructions, allowing users to describe what they want to build while AI agents handle the development process. Once a prompt is given, the system can continue working in the background, enabling a more continuous and flexible development workflow.
The mobile application also supports cross-device functionality, which allows users to seamlessly switch between phone and computer. Users receive notifications when builds are ready, making it easier to review and refine projects in real time.
The launch comes as Apple tightens its App Store policies around apps that dynamically generate or modify code. The company recently blocked updates to platforms such as Replit due to security concerns and app review processes.
Apple’s guidelines do not ban AI coding apps entirely, but they do restrict apps that can change functionality after installation or execute generated code within the app itself. As a result, several platforms have shifted how their products operate on iOS.
Lovable appears to have adapted to these requirements by focusing on generating web-based applications. Instead of running generated apps within the mobile environment, outputs are handled externally, aligning with Apple’s current policies.
The launch highlights the growing demand for AI-driven development tools that reduce reliance on traditional coding. By extending its platform to mobile, Lovable is enabling a more accessible, always-available approach to software creation.
