HCLTech has launched an AI Innovation Zone in collaboration with Google Cloud, aimed at helping enterprises scale AI applications and move from experimentation to production.
The facility, located in Santa Clara, will focus on building and deploying AI-driven workflows across agentic, kinetic and physical AI use cases. Powered by Gemini Enterprise, the centre is designed as a dedicated environment where enterprises can design, test and operationalise AI systems, including robotics-led solutions, for industry-specific outcomes.
The launch builds on the expanded partnership between the two companies announced in March. It combines Google Cloud’s AI infrastructure with HCLTech’s industry-focused AI offerings to support enterprises transitioning toward what both companies describe as “agentic enterprises”.
“Enterprise AI has moved rapidly from the experimentation phase to a focus on driving tangible business outcomes at scale,” said Kevin Ichhpurani, President, Global Partner Ecosystem at Google Cloud. He added that the Innovation Zone will provide customers a framework to build, test and deploy advanced workflows and bridge the gap between innovation and enterprise-wide adoption.
Vijay Guntur, CTO and Head of Ecosystems at HCLTech, said the collaboration enables organisations to operationalise AI systems capable of executing autonomous, multi-step workflows at scale, with a focus on measurable business outcomes.
